FAQ
-
It depends on where you're starting your journey. If you're coming from another country, the best option is to fly to Warsaw and then take a train or arrange a shared car ride to Studio Burdąg. We’ll assist with transportation logistics to ensure everyone arrives safely and smoothly.
-
We have 10 rooms available. If you’re coming alone, you’ll have a private room. If you’re coming with someone, you can share a room to reduce the cost of the coworking experience.
The rooms are basic but cozy, designed for rest and focus. Some rooms include small desks for working. There are four shared bathrooms in the building.Let us know your preferences in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs!
-
Studio Burdąg offers plenty of space, spread across two buildings, where we’ve created three distinct working zones to suit different needs.
Our 120 m² hall is ideal for those who work with movement—dancers, performers, and anyone needing open space.
A bright music studio with a view of the garden is perfect for musicians, offering a peaceful setting to compose and create.
Another spacious room, equipped with tables and desks, is designed for those who work with computers or need a quiet space to write or design.
Additionally, most rooms include their own desks, so you’re welcome to work privately in your own space.
-
Of course! About Time is for anyone who needs dedicated time to focus, create, or reflect—whether you're an artist, entrepreneur, freelancer, researcher, or simply someone looking to reconnect with your work.
This experience is about uninterrupted time to dive into your project, explore new ideas, or even find your path again. No matter your field, if you need space to think and create, you’re more than welcome to join!
-
Yes, there is Wi-Fi available at Studio Burdąg. However, since this is a countryside location, the connection is best suited for browsing, emails, and light work. It may not be strong enough for online gaming or video calls with multiple participants.
If your work requires heavy internet usage, we recommend bringing a mobile hotspot as a backup. That being said, this residency is all about disconnecting from distractions and focusing on your creative process!
-
The residency is completely self-directed—you decide what you work on, how you structure your day, and how much you engage with others. There are no mandatory schedules, allowing you to fully focus on your project at your own pace.
However, the evenings belong to us! ✨ We encourage participants to share their work, exchange ideas, or simply connect. In the last edition, we ran out of evenings because so many exciting ideas emerged once we got together! While participation is optional, these moments often turn into the most inspiring part of the experience.
-
While there’s no fixed schedule, the day naturally flows around shared meal times:
09:00 – Breakfast – Start your day with a fresh meal. Before that, you can go for a run, enjoy a stretching session in the dance hall, or ease into your morning however you like.
10:00 – 14:00 – Focus time – Most participants spend this time working on their projects, while others take walks in nature for inspiration.
14:00 – Lunch – A chance to take a break, recharge, and connect with others.
15:00 – 19:00 – More work time – Dive back into your creative process or collaborate with fellow residents.
19:00 – Dinner – A relaxed meal where conversations spark new ideas.
Evenings – Free & creative space – After dinner, we curate special moments like movie screenings, concerts, and dance performances— or whatever emerges from our creative community.
Everything is optional, and you’re free to design your own rhythm, but the structure helps balance deep work, connection, and inspiration.

WHat they say about about time
About Time was unlike any other retreat or trip I’ve ever experienced. The concept gave me space to create, the collection of people and daily happenings brought it all to life. The About Time week to work on my idea was not just inspiring and relaxing but also uniquely productive.
— IAN RITCHEY
I was worried about coming here from Japan, when I couldn't even converse. But I really wanted to interact with artists from all over the world. In the end, I'm really glad I came! I can't converse like everyone else, but I was able to have deep and fun exchanges with everyone through my dance. I'm truly grateful! Living together with people who have different cultures, values, and lifestyles is a very valuable experience!
— AYA SAKAI
Grateful to littlerest for the magical time away in the lake district of Poland alongside some other inspiring artists. It was a deeply fruitful creative hibernation. Listening to the trees (and perhaps some wolves!) beneath the stars and bedded in snow was the quietude I didn’t realise I needed. There was lots of tree hugging and tears. Cherishing the stillness and memories of barszcz 💕 Thank you Kasia and everyone who made this trip what it was.
